Paralegal

Probate and Trust Administration law firm is seeking a full-time paralegal to provide support to three attorneys in a small but fast paced and busy environment.
Candidates must have prior legal experience.
Probate experience or litigation experience is preferred.
Position is full time, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Must be a paralegal qualified under the Business and Professions Code § 6450.
Job Duties Include: * Drafting legal documents including pleadings, judicial council forms, and deeds * Assisting and preparing for trials * Drafting discovery subpoenas, arranging depositions, and obtaining discovery responses from client * Determining deadline dates from court rules * Maintaining and managing heavy calendar * Docketing all deadlines, tasks and events * Formatting correspondence and pleadings * Assisting with administrative duties and tasks * Coordinating requests between multiple parties and attorneys involved in litigation by way of consistent communication with client, and assisting attorney through end of case * All other duties assigned Skills and Qualifications: * Reliable and punctual in attendance * Good communication skills both verbally and in written form * Effective communication skills directly with clients * Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete tasks in a timely manner * Strong organizational abilities to manage time and to ensure proper follow up on pending tasks * Attention to detail in completing tasks assigned by attorneys Qualified candidates please submit a resume.
