*About the Role:*
As an Associate at our Ontario office, you'll be cross-trained in various practice areas, gaining exposure to estate planning, probate, trust administration, and estate litigation.
We offer a supportive atmosphere for your professional development, and the position entails a reasonable requirement of 1,680 yearly billable hours.
*About You:*
* *Experience:* 1-5 years, preferably with some litigation exposure or a willingness to become a litigator.
* *Independence:* You're accustomed to handling files from start to finish and thrive as a self-starter.
* *Versatility:* With an interest in learning various practice areas, you appreciate the mentorship of a senior attorney.
* *Communication:* Strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*Your Responsibilities:*
* Research
* Drafting pleadings
* Responding to discovery
* Conducting depositions
* Drafting correspondence
* Communicating with clients
* Estate planning
* Probate and trust administration
*Education & Requirements:*
* 1-5 years' experience, preferably as a civil litigator (not required)
* Licensed to practice law in California
* Courtroom experience preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Superb written and oral communication skills
* Willingness to learn various practice areas
* Coachable
