What You'll Do:
The Titles Specialist directly reports to and supports the Commercial Vehicle Titles department from the title processing aspect to all administrative needs.
In addition, the Titles Specialist supports other team members and departments with all commercial vehicle titles needs.
General Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist Closing department with title process whenever the dealership is not processing title/registration
• Work with customers to obtain necessary documentation to process title/registration such as VIN verifications, cab cards, weight tickets, etc.
• Gather complete packets to send to third party vendors who will process title/registration on behalf of Crossroads and closely monitor the vendor’s progress
• Process title corrections and DMV rejected titles
Track title perfection and provide monthly reporting on past due titles
• Serve as the point person with funding sources and answer any questions in a timely manner
• Monitor and record ELT perfected titles
• Scan and record title movement to internal software programs as received
• Update internal system with status of new titles, received titles and titles released via asset termination
• Complete re-assignment of ALL outgoing titles and send to vendors or customers
• Process releasing of title to customers upon loan maturity/asset termination
Responsible for customer services calls to provide resolve of DMV related issues, requesting title corrections, lienholder releases and misc.

• Works independently, receiving a minimum of detailed supervision and guidance
• Partners with other support staff within the organization to properly execute tasks
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• DMV, registration and title experience specifically related to commercial trucks and trailers preferred
• Must be detail oriented multi-tasker with the ability to maintain a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook
• Must be highly organized and able to accurately communicate across different departments
• Strict adherence to a high level of customer service
• Detailed oriented with ability to multi-task on many concurrent projects
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Creative thinker with the ability to resolve critical problems
• Must be able to work and thrive within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Positive, high energy and a desire to work hard to accomplish goals
Supervisory Responsibility:
• This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Compensation:
• $21-25/hour depending on experience
