Quality Assurance Manager

*Quality Assurance (QA) Manager* Baby Trend is a manufacturer of consumer related baby products and is located in*Fontana, CA*.
Our products are sold at nationwide retail locations,juvenile specialty stores and ecommerce Our slogan is Quality -Confort and Style.
We are looking for a *Quality Assurance Manager* to be responsible for ensuring that the products meet company and industry quality standards and that the products are in compliance with Federal, State, and related regulations globally.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all external and internal requirements are met and adhered to before our products reache our customers.
Job Descriptions & Responsibilities: * Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback related to Quality Assurance and compliance.
* Conduct internal and external audits as necessary.
* Ensure QA controls related to manufacturing processes: create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured audit and test plans.
* May be involved in developing packaging & shipping requirement or be involved in providing quality specifications to purchasing as necessary.
* Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to regulatory requirements and meet clients’ needs.
* Ensue products comply with regulations, retail protocol, JPMA, CPSIA, etc.
* Ensure products meet quality attributes.
* Maintain quality systems; Test and analyze samples; Monitor debugging process results.
* Be able to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
* Understand product requlatory requirements and specifications.
* Develop detailed test plans to support the testing efforts.
* Work with Engineering to design and implement CAPA’s and other surveillance programs.
* Define the quality criteria and the success metrics for various products and services.
* Complete CPSC and NHTSA quarterly reporting.
Basic Qualifications: * BS or BA in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or related field; or 6-8 years of Quality Assurance management experience or related experience.
* Previous experience in consumer products.
Juvenile products a plus.
* Through knowledge of methodologies of quality assurancestandards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well as a team.
* Excellent organizational and leadership abilities; ability to solve problems effectively.
* Must be fluent in English; Bilingual Chinese is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $90,000.
