Express Car Wash Assistant Manager

We are seeking a knowledgeable and mechanically inclined Assistant Manager to join our team at our Express Car Wash located in Mentone, CA.
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the car wash, ensuring efficiency, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: * Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
* Train and mentor staff members on proper car wash procedures, equipment operation, and customer service protocols.
* Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
* Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
* Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
* Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
* Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
* Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels, and prepare reports for management review.
* Serve as a role model for staff, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the job.
Requirements: * Previous experience in the car wash industry or a similar field preferred.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
* Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus.
