Job Duties: * Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operation of the Front Desk staff, ensuring that the guests are being served in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
* He / She must be responsible for covering the shifts if any front desk agents or night audit calls off.
* He / She is responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
* Train, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with brand & hotel standards, policies and procedures.
* Trains front desk staff on proper revenue management procedures, including successful selling techniques, current specials and/or promotions, and rate structures in order to maximize room revenue.
* Resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions.
* Ensure hotel entrance, reception and other public areas are properly maintained in regards to cleanliness and appearance * Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
* Be able to perform all duties of Front Desk Agent.
* Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures as required.
* Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly efficient and courteous manner.
* Answer all guest inquiries in a timely and professional nature.
* Be involved in departmental meeting planning and execution.
* Help maintain productivity levels at or above budgeted standards.
* Perform any other duty as required by management.
* Attend meetings as required by management.
* Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel (set example for other associates be the team leader).
* Focus and maintain attention to tasks, and complete work assignments on time despite frequent interruptions.
