The Security Lead Technician is responsible for the onsite installation of CCTV, Access Control, and Burglary systems.
You will be responsible for leading a crew in the overall installation of projects as directed by Security leadership and management.
The Security Lead Technician is a vital component to the project performing the installation of devices, running wiring, and performing basic construction needs to ensure the successful completion of client projects.
Position Requirements:
• 3+ years installing security equipment in a commercial environment
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
• Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
We also conduct pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations.
Essential Functions:
• Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, or related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plan.
• Is responsible for performing wire pulling, project prep and clean up, troubleshooting, project documentation, customer communications, and training of technicians.
• Leads the crew onsite to ensure the successful installation of project components.
• Is the primary contact for the customer while on site; communicates daily with the Foreman and/or Project Manager regarding job status.
• Responsible for all project documentation, enters a daily summary into company CRM regarding the status of the project installation and will provide all final project documents timely for project close outs.
• Responsible for ensuring all project materials and equipment are prepped and read to be used during the project installation
• Adheres to all workplace safety expectations, regulations, standards and practices.
• Punctuality and regular attendance
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
• Move/transport/install/remove items weighing 50+ pounds
• Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day
• You may work at extreme heights occasionally, and an indoor environment under all temperature variations.
Confined spaces may occasionally be required.
• Work is performed on construction sites, in commercial buildings, high rise buildings, and/or hospitals with patient contact.
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all California locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
