JOB SUMMARY: The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and actively contributing to varied construction projects and to ensure the completion of these projects in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties vary depending on the project, from personally completing a project in the field, to hiring trade professionals to perform specific tasks, monitoring budgeted expenses, purchasing/renting needed supplies, tools, equipment, materials, and furnishings to complete the project.
Duties also include adhering to laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ⦁ Bid and contract trade professionals and provide oversight of their work and conduct onsite training as needed ⦁ Review and learn project plans and specifications ⦁ Delegate tasks onsite to respective employees/venders based on skill sets and preferences ⦁ Order tools, equipment items or materials needed to complete tasks ⦁ Oversee project spending to ensure it remains within budget ⦁ Communicates safety procedures to vendors and employees and provides training on safety gear and procedures as necessary ⦁ Operate heavy equipment as needed ⦁ Communicate equipment and manpower needs to meet schedules and deadlines ⦁ Build within established budgets and timelines ⦁ Post expenses accurately and timely to established account numbers ⦁ Communicate as necessary with county and regulatory officials ⦁ Support in the development of project scopes and designs ⦁ Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably ⦁ Regularly report project status to Project Manager ⦁ Performs other duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ⦁ 5 years related experience and/or training QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

⦁ Possess strong technical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills, have the ability to deal with difficult situations, resolve issues and concerns in a professional manner.
⦁ A propensity for learning and maintaining company standards, in carrying out assigned responsibilities safely, diligently, timely and with integrity.
⦁ Assume responsibility for initiating a pleasant atmosphere by displaying a professional attitude through performance, appearance, and demeanor.
⦁ Regular, timely attendance.
⦁ Maintain proper and professional appearance according to Forest Home guidelines.
⦁ Excellent people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department or Forest Home and its policies and procedures.
⦁ Ability to hear from God and pray for people both in person and over the phone.
⦁ Able to accomplish assigned projects utilizing highly developed communication (written and verbal), project management, and time management and collaboration skills.
⦁ Knowledge of MS Office Suite ⦁ Uphold and support the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Forest Home ⦁ Actively supports and participates in the staff spiritual life activities.
