*Operations Specialist*
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Plus Imaging, a leading diagnostic imaging facility.
This role is integral to our operations, requiring a blend of administrative proficiency, financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a wide array of tasks, from scheduling and billing to collections and lien negotiations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Administrative Support:* Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling patient appointments, processing billing information, managing correspondence with referral sources, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our database, and coordinating the fulfillment of subpoenas and other legal requests for patient information.
* *Financial Operations:* Play an important role in the financial aspects of our operations, including collections and negotiating liens with law firms.
Ensure timely and accurate financial payments and reporting.
* *Customer Service:* Provide exemplary customer service to patients, referral sources, legal professionals, and other stakeholders.
Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
* *Team Collaboration:* Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with training new staff and may be called upon to lead side projects or initiatives to improve office efficiency and patient care.
* *Quality Control:* Conduct regular checks of all work done to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Highlight and address discrepancies or areas for improvement.
*Requirements*
* Experience in an administrative role within a healthcare and/or legal setting, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in medical-legal case management, collections and/or lien negotiations.
* High proficiency with computer software systems, including spreadsheets, EHR, email, calendars, billing, and other office software.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, including heavy call and email volume simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Education:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
