These have a reputation for being better quality than Epiphones! Gibson actually sent them a "ceases and desist" motion because they looked too much like a Gibson.
Rondo Music changed the shape of the "horn" at the lower cut-out area.
Gibson wasn't satisfied because they thought the headstock looked too much like the "open book -moustache" that Gibson claims is theirs, so Rondo changed the shape of the headstock.
This is a 2000-2003 model "PRE Lawsuit", original horn and headstock! These were made in Korea, not the low quality China stuff.
I replaced the pickups with a set of Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAF's.
A DP223SP in the bridge and a DP103SP in the neck.
I ordered these pickups from "Banjo Mikes" with GOLD screws and gold slugs in the coils.
I used all gold hardware! I changed out all four pots with USA made full size 500K pots and the two volumes are "push-
pull" for coil splitting.
I even added a Gibson "Standard" truss-rod cover! Installed Dunlop Straplocks and a strap.
Low action with no fret buzz, easy to play! I have two Gibson Les Pauls and this plays and sounds as good! Comes with the original case! I'm selling a bunch of amps and guitars and basses so click on the "other adds by user" button.
