This Schafer & Sons piano was manufactured by Samick musical Instruments Ltd.
in South Korea, they started making pianos in 1958, and began making them for Schafer & Sons in 1974, they provided pianos for Schafer until 1989.
This allowed Schafer and Sons to sell top quality musical instruments at an affordable price, helping them to become a well-known figure in the piano sales industry in the United States, they were among the widest distributors of pianos in the USA.
This piano was recently professionally tuned, and tuned every 6 months prior to that, plays very well, and comes with ONE FREE tuning, bench included, LEDs are optional.
When taken care of, a baby grand piano can be expected to last 50 to 60 years depending on how well it is maintained, the type of environment it is used in.
Any piano should be considered a long term investment, not only in dollars but the time you spend playing it, the longer you have played a baby grand, the more you insist on playing one.
