I am a gigging and recording singer/songwriter.
I play at bars, breweries, and wineries a couple times a month.
Some private parties, too.
I have original music, but also do a lot of cover songs.
Bands I cover include: Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, The Cure, other New Wave, Rock, and Alternative.
*If you are not a big fan of New Wave 80s music, please don't respond.

I am hoping to find a synth player, but *any* solo instrument would work.
Keys would be nice, because I transpose many of the songs to fit my vocal range, and most keyboards have a transpose function.
Play more than one instrument? Multi-instrumentalists are welcome.
Maybe a clarinet with an effects pedal? I'm open.
Also, not looking for backup harmonies, but if you got 'em, sweet.
Practice: Weekends are good for me.
Potentially short evening sessions during the week.
You would put most of your effort into practicing with the original recordings, learning the lead parts note for note, in the key that I play it in.
You can also pick out any prominent melodic parts that you want to play, if you want to keep busy for the rest of the song.
As you learn the songs you can jump-in during my current gigs.
Later, when you can play most of the songs, we can start charging more as a duo.
Later, we can find more players: drums/perc, bass.
But, for now, I'd like to get the solos in place, starting with the cover songs, then my songs.
If all goes well with the live gigs, we'll have a band and be recording new material together.
You won't need amplification; you can plug into my PA system.
I am in Riverside, and I usually do gigs within a 30 mile radius for now.
Age: I am 50.
If you love New Wave, you'll probably be around the same age as me.
So, I don't think I have to specify an age range.
