Summary:
The Vehicle Exchange Specialist is responsible to generate and expand the Dealership’s customer base by selling Dealership products and services to new customers at the customers’ place of business and to maintain customer accounts.
Essential Duties include the following; however, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Automotive Sales
Making outbound phone calls to generate in dealership appointments
Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Tracking all activity in DealerSocket
Working with prior sales and current service customers to generate car deals
Fostering relationships with customers
Leading customers through the entire acquisition process
Educating customers on financial products and financing options available
Leading the customer through the financial paperwork process
Appraise trades
Following up with customers after the acquisition
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The individual should possess:
A high school diploma or equivalent, desired
Minimum of one (1) year sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles; basic mathematical concepts (such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages); equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retain automotive sales
Ability to coordinate activities with other employees
Read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language
Learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales
Must be able to work independently and with a team
Must be detail oriented, organized and be able to multitask
Must have exceptional communication skills both written and oral
Must be able to learn quickly, be adaptable and handle a demanding environment
Ability to multi-task projects, establish priorities, work independently and organize effectively
Must have a valid sales driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record

Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
