POSITION TITLE: COURTESY CLERK JOB SUMMARY: To assist clerks and customers with bagging items purchased, collect shopping carts, and maintain general cleanliness of the store.
FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS: Bag the customers purchases Assist customers to their vehicles with their purchases Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lots and surrounding areas Maintain cleanliness of the checkstand area Maintain cleaning and bagging supplies in the checkstand area Return non-purchased items to their proper shelf location Assist customers with their questions Secure price verification for clerks Maintain routine sweeping of the sales floor Break down and collect cardboard boxes Handle clean-ups as required throughout the store Maintain routine sweeping of the sales floor Other related duties as required This position requires bending, twisting, stooping and lifting up to 50-lbs.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Must be 16 years of age.
Ability to read aisle makers, shelf tags and prices, and labels.
Must possess efficient hand-eye coordination and be able to perform basic math calculations.
Must maintain a sense of integrity.
