We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and goal-oriented Director of Business Development to join our team and help us expand our operations and build strong relationships.

Salary is determined based on applicant's skills; prior relevant experience, etc.
Total compensation (base salary plus commission) expected to be anywhere from $150,000 to $200,000
Compensation:

Responsibilities:
Create and implement tactical plans to promote company expansion and increase the client base.
Construct and maintain a positive rapport with potential and current customers.
Coordinate efficiently with internal groups to guarantee a consistent, remarkable client journey.
Attend industry events, shows, and conventions to showcase our ability and broaden our network.
Accumulate a thorough understanding of our services, the Californian freight market, and the latest industry developments.
Monitor, assess, and report on performance metrics, leveraging data-based insights to enhance our strategies and optimize outcomes.
Provide feedback and guidance in the creation of promotional materials, offers, and presentations that emphasize our distinct value.
Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
Proven success in transportation, logistics, or a similar sector with over 4 years experience in business development.
Well-versed in the California regional freight environment, full truckload hauls, and industry standards.
Skilled networker with remarkable relationship-building capabilities to create strong alliances and persuade clients.
Articulate communicator and presenter, able to explain our vision and value to various stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the capacity to identify potential and transform them into profitable ventures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and specialized software and tools.
