Deputy Field Organizer

We are looking for outgoing and detail orientated people to do in-person outreach around Riverside.
Ideal candidates will be friendly, approachable, and quick learners.
You will be on the front lines, talking to members of the community about a specific candidate, collecting data, and committing voters to vote.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about community outreach.
This position is flexible time-wise, and we are happy to accommodate individuals who currently have another _part-time_ job.
Comfort with having conversations with potential voters is ideal, and prior experience with campaigns or political work is not required.
All we ask is that you maintain a positive work ethic and have an interest in getting involved in the Riverside community.
*Requirements* * Reliable transportation (your own vehicle, public transit, etc.
) * Ability to walk through neighborhoods for 2-3 hours at a time while carrying 1-2 pounds of literature to be handed out at the doors * Strong work ethic * Commit to 10-15+ hours per week (preferably working during weekday afternoons or weekends between 10AM and 6AM * Positive demeanor and ability to engage voters at their homes with respect and kindness * *For bilingual/Spanish speakers: * * A salary increase can be made available to you for your skills.
