Offering a great compensation and commission package Perks: Company vehicle In this role, you will: Sales Manager at WestPac Labs will be responsible for developing a strategic growth plan in collaboration with the Regional Manager, Senior Director or Vice President of Sales.
They are responsible for managing the Sales personnel, training, and supporting them to ensure their success.
RSM work very closely with internal operations to ensure the highest quality of service provided to each client.
They participate in weekly meetings to ensure the Sales personnel are meeting quota and maintaining their existing portfolio of business.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the Sales personnel and identifying appropriate and profitable prospective clients.
Required to perform other job duties, as necessary.
Development of Growth Opportunities (multi-physician groups, Urgent Care Centers, Community Clinics, etc.
) Field Sales Calls and Training (3-4 days per week) Ensure Sales Personnel achieves quota with appropriate new clients Maintain an existing base of clients (house accounts, Top 30 accounts, etc.
) Complies with all policies and procedures of the Company.
Follow-up on a timely basis with all client and employee requests Perform financial assessments of existing and new accounts Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external employees Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Possess strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, sales techniques, product demonstration, and sales control systems.
Possess ability to influence others through the use of persuasion, encouragement, and demonstration of product knowledge.
Have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Must be customer service oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills and maintain a positive and friendly attitude when interacting with patients, clients, and vendors.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills in order to consider various potential outcomes and identify the best course of action.
Ability to effectively communicate effectively both orally and written.
Must effectively be able to negotiate and close business deals All you need is: College degree in Business Management and or Marketing preferred but not required.
A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years Previous outside Sales or Service experience within the clinical reference lab industry Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
Bonus points if you’ve got: 2 – 5 years of outside Sales or Service experience in the medical field Clinical or Molecular laboratory, sales and management experience managing, and selling into community clinics, FQHC’s, Women’s Health Practices is highly preferred.
