As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors.
The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for purchasing good and managing raw inventory.
_The following is a list of the duties and responsibilities of the Purchasing Specialist.

* Work with company department managers to determine purchasing needs and requirements for production and office products
* Identify the most appropriate supplier for the designated product, determine availability, perform comparative pricing and negotiate pricing, confirm quality of products and establish delivery requirements/timelines
* Perform all purchasing functions, such as coordinating with office team for issuing purchase orders (POs), invoice creation, pricing verification, payment authorization, complete entries into accounting system
* Input and maintain online database of all products; maintains daily inventory update
* Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, pricing, delivery, utilization, loss
* Perform inventory cycle counts, spot counts and month end reconciliation process; research any variances and authorize appropriate inventory adjustments
* Update company on any new products that may be more efficient or cost effective, obsolete products, product trends
* Conduct records audit of inventory, adjustments and other metrics and prepare monthly/ quarterly/ annual reports of findings to management
* Work with Engineering and Project Management to forecast demand for products and services
* Source parts and materials, focusing on cost, availability, dependability, quality, delivery, and other factors
* Manage vendors, perform vendor evaluations, and maintain good vendor relationships
* Negotiate preferred pricing, terms, and delivery with vendors
* Quality Control to resolve supplier quality issues, ensuring timely and effective containment and long-term resolution of each concern
* Generate purchasing documentation and order parts and materials
* Return incorrect or defective goods
* Minimize overstocks, obsolete material, and returns
* Manage and monitor stock supplies from suppliers
* Oversee inventory counts
* Manage product shipping activities, including quote requests, paperwork, and scheduling
* Assist with estimating
* Assist in developing purchasing and inventory management strategy, making recommendations and implementing change
* Schedule pick-ups and deliveries; provide driver schedules
* Provide production line materials list used by SKC or Sub-Contractors and log per unit or per project
* Provide damage goods by subcontractors for back charge items and cost

* Graduation from accredited high school; some college desirable
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
* Knowledge of Famous or similar a software is a Plus
* Must have good driving record
