*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Develop project estimates.
* Develop project labor and material values.
* Request quotes for fixture, equipment, and large material purchases from vendors.
* Assisted in developing initial budgets and estimates for design-build projects.
* Review all RFI’s for project understanding, costs, and risks.
* Review bid documents, Contracts, and Letters of Intent to verify the scope of the projects.
* Attend Meetings with various owners, developers, & general contractors if required.
* Complete accurate estimate takeoff using onscreen estimating software.
* Evaluate and communicate project risk- Manage multiple bids while meeting rigorous deadlines in a high-pressure work environment.
* Organize previous takeoffs and estimates for future project review and time study.
* Perform subcontractor and vendor estimate reviews.
* Assisted in developing initial budgets and estimates for design-build projects.
Review cost estimates with management for potential scope gaps and finalize bid for submission.
* Analyze subcontractor scope and select completer and more competitive price.
* Understand the workings and sequencing of a project including construction schedule, tie-in, and shutdowns.
* Obtain and negotiate the best possible pricing from suppliers and subcontractors within company Code of Ethics.
* Implement safety operations and assist company with overseeing best workplace and job site safety practices.
* Travel to bidding “job walks”, job site assessments and prepare/take notes and photographs for bidding and work use.
*Technical Skills:* * Ability to understand general and construction project scope and concepts, while determining potential risks and devising a plan to address them even before a project begins.
* Ability to have an affinity for the latest innovations that can help improve efficiency, collaboration, and success rates.
* Must have excellent communication skills while interacting with customers, vendors, and employees, in a friendly and professional manner-on the telephone/E-mail and in person.
* Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic.
*Management Skills:* * Collaborate with management team to develop a vision and then continually communicate that vision throughout the organization, working with the team to achieve the vision.
* Must be financially aware to deliver targets, with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance.
* Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and maintain a strong sense of attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively to manage customer relationships, in addition to strong planning and organization skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency.
* Must work efficiently in a demanding environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

*Qualifications:* * Must have field experience in either mechanical, plumbing, electrical or fire sprinkler fields.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in public and private contracting.
* High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or similar in the related field a plus.
* Construction project Management certification a plus * Strong knowledge of plumbing codes * Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the plumbing trade.
* Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications (required) * Knowledge and experience with an estimating software (preferred) * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Must successfully complete an employment background check including a drug screening.
Competitive Wages: $75,000 to $115,000 Annual Salary.
