We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Welder/Fabricators and Helpers for our Adelanto, California depot.
In this role, you will work in our repair shop, performing structural repairs and fabricating special project items on customer equipment such as chassis, trailers, and containers.
Helpers will have the opportunity to learn from experienced welders, gaining valuable skills and knowledge.
Successful candidates will be able to work as part of a team and pitch in wherever needed.

Essential Functions include the following:
Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on chassis, trailers and shipping containers using Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) standards as a guide
Welding and cutting during routine and extensive repair of chassis, trailers, and containers in accordance with DOT, OSHA and IICL.
Cutting and measuring, working with power tools both pneumatic and electrical
Measuring and gauging damage for estimate and reparability, completing work orders and inspection paperwork
Completes all work in a timely and consistent manner
Strictly adheres to all safety rules and regulations
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, hearing protection, welding leathers & goggles, steel toe safety boots, etc.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational Training in welding and/or heavy equipment operations desirable
Valid Class C Driver License
Strong work ethic
Deadline and detail oriented
Previous welding experience, formal or informal – certification not required
Knowledge of basic shop equipment and tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use computer and smart phone devices at an intermediate or higher level
Ability to use two-way radio
Ability to work long hours and weekends
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with those in the Company and customers
Ability to speak, read and write English
Experience:
Minimum 2 years welding experience
Helper role is an entry level position.
Job training provided.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Physically demanding role including, but not limited to, lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working in awkward positions for extended periods of time.
Limited sitting.
Requires using hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Work may be performed out of doors and subject to environmental conditions including heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $18.
00 - $32.
00 per hour depending upon level of skills and experience
Payroll Workweek: Monday thru Friday - 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Workweek is typically Monday to Saturday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Weekend availability is required
Overtime, while not guaranteed, tends to be consistently required approximately nine (9) months out of twelve (12) each year
