In support of Program Manager, Advanced Amphibious Assault, we are seeking Field Service Representatives with experience in supporting Field Service Support (FSS) activities required to assist the Government in vehicle sustainment.
Provide sustainment logistics management support to the Program Management Office and Logistics Management Specialist; this includes all phases of supportability analysis, supportability planning, and sustainment management.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: • Provide in-depth knowledge of the AAV and ACV Family of Vehicles (FoVs) consisting of, but not limited to, vehicle systems operation and repair, engineering drawing review and comment, technical manual review, vehicle inspection, failure analysis, repair and installation of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) / modification kits, mishap investigations, and Marine Corps Maintenance Procedures • Conduct in-process inspections, configuration validation, component and sub-assembly configuration conformance assessment, test data validation, and final inspection acceptance as required, during all maintenance and manufacturing functions • Conduct causative research, analysis, and reporting using USMC Logistics Information Systems (e.
g.
, PDREP, GCSS-MC, TDM-Catalyst, DLA websites) • Provide expertise for instructing AAV/ACV units with familiarization and on-the-job training on the maintenance and repair of the AAV/ACV FoVs • Conduct analyses and present findings and recommendations (verbal, written, and presentation) • Provide support for the Inspect and Repair Only as Necessary (IROAN) or Return to Condition Code a (RCCA) process at respective maintenance centers (Albany, GA and Barstow, CA) Education/Experience: High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
Must have 10 years of maintenance experience for vehicles similar to AAV and ACV within the last 20 years at the level equivalent to Ordnance Vehicle Officer/Chief.
Specific/Preferred Requirements: Demonstrated experience with TM/TI/MI, ECPs, RAM/RS, and IROAN preferred • Must possess a current US passport or ability to obtain one within 60 days of task order award • Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS on short notice • Ability to spend extended periods of time in austere field conditions • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Able to obtain and maintain a Government CAC Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
