Magnolia Foods LLC is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team for our Mira Loma, CA 92376.

About the Role:
Responsible for leading the team members with various inspections and activities in relation to the quality of product processed throughout the facility, in accordance with SQF and industry standard operating procedures, line specifications, and associated customer specifications.
Responsible for assuring that product is in compliance with standard quality regulations.
What You’ll Do:
Moisture and pH Testing
Product Quality Evaluation (shelf life and sample retention program)
§ Responsible for conducting pre-operational and production in-line inspections
Record production and packaging conditions according to procedures.
Perform routine decisions for product holding and line holding.
Record all abnormal production and communicate with Production Supervisor and QA Manager for immediate action.
Calibrate all equipment used for in-line inspections.
Conduct daily and monthly GMP walk-through and sanitation inspections.
Perform ATP test and environmental swabbing.
Monitor environmental air quality and inspect employees’ hygiene condition.
Data entry of records
Material Sampling and Inspecting Perform material receiving inspection based on respective material’s product specification and inspection check list.
Train receiving department on Inspection of Raw and Packaging Material
Responsible for collecting samples of raw ingredients and packaging materials used for production.
Organize and update Packaging and Raw Material Catalogue
Organize and update COA from suppliers.
Customer product returned inspection.
Guide leads QA technicians for optimal performance.
Responsible to direct the department’s Quality Assurance Technicians in their day-to-day tasks & with scheduling, training, developing.
; Leads the group with QA compliance for the company’s Quality procedures and processes.
Comply with all Plant, State and Federal, OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF Regulations.
Follow all safety procedures in a proper manner.
Effectively collaborates with external departments to resolve corrective actions.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Education and Experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Food Manufacturing with proven experience with implementation of food safety and quality programs
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Management Position
Experience within the consumer products, food and beverage industries preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Food Science or a technically related field required.
HACCP, and SQF certifications required.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data to make strategic decisions.
Experience with FDA and Quality Systems rules, regulations, including planning and implementation.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Ability to follow through and follow up.
