This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s distribution network.
This role assists the Warehouse and/or Unit Manager in maintaining all standards in accordance with safety, quality, inventory, and productivity levels while meeting customer requirements in an efficient manner as a Warehouse Technician.
Warehouse Leads lead, monitor, and support the productivity and efficiency of the shift.
This position safely operate forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, picking, sorting, packing, and transporting products.
Sunday through Thursday, 3rd Shift 10:00 pm-6:30 am

Support shift set-up including scheduling, and production planning
Monitor and report on productivity, and other relevant shift activity
Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
Abide by and promote all company safety and quality expectations
Accurately and efficiently pick orders
Process, package, and ship orders accurately
Monitor stocks and inventory
Inspect products for defects and damages
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately
Operate robots to facilitate effective warehouse operations
Coordinate site damage/re-pour area
Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Must have at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
Preferred Qualifications
Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
Have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
Have at least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
Have an Associate's degree or higher
