We’re looking to hire a skilled estimation professional to assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs.

Compensation:
$30-$36 hourly
Responsibilities:
Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects
Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information
Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposals and budgets
Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors
Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs
Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors
Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department
Qualifications:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software
Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field is required
Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed
Exceptional time management, project management, and communication skills are essential
Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical
