DETAILED FLOORPLAN: The address of the house is located on lower Rose Lane, Twin Peaks, California, 92391 - cross streets are Clubhouse Drive and Forest Lane and upper Rose Lane) and following information: The house is a three story building with a very large deck.
Two entrances - the bottom floor and the second floor.
As you enter the door, to your left, the bottom floor has a small room with a bunk in it for a single bed with a storage cabinet.
In front of you are the stairs to the second floor.
To the right is another area for a bunk bed or double bed (we used it as a den with a futon couch that converted to a bed).
To the far right is a full bathroom with a shower and the washer and dryer.
The second floor.
As you enter the door, to your left is the kitchen and dining area.
In front of you are the stairs to the third floor.
To the right is the living room area with the fireplace and a doorway to access the stairs to the bottom floor.
The third floor.
At the top of the stairs, to your left is a bedroom.
In front of you is a small landing area.
To the right is another full bathroom with a tub.
To the right of the bathroom is another bedroom which we considered to be the master bedroom just because it is a bit larger than the other bedrooms.
There is also an attic at the top of the third floor and a large inside storage area on the first floor level.
One other thing to mention to further clarify as to what we "utilized" as a third/fourth bedroom.
As indicated with my detailed description, the first/bottom floor has an exterior entrance to an exterior concrete walkway that connects to the driveway or stairway to access the second floor.
As you enter inside, to the left is a room that we call the "Bunk Room.
" One step down into the room from the bottom floor entrance/landing.
The room can be used entirely for storage if desired and it has a built-in storage cabinet inside the room on a portion of the wall.
The room also has an access entrance/door above the bunk area to access/enter the storage area which is underneath the second floor and covers almost HALF of the entire length of the house.
Or, a twin-sized mattress can be easily added on top of the raised foundation and used as a bed.
From what we experienced with our family, kids loved playing and sleeping in the Bunk Room.
Again, as you enter inside the first/bottom floor through the exterior entrance, to the right is a room that we used as a bedroom, which may be considered a den or even more storage if needed.
Also one step down into the "bedroom/den" room from the bottom floor entrance/landing.
On the wall, this room also has another storage access door which connects to the one in the Bunk Room.
This room also has the water heater in a cabinet and the entrance to the bathroom/laundry area.
When we bought the property, the deck was extremely small and only accessible from the second floor entrance/stairway.
Again, we added a very large extension to the deck that includes two large sections.
One is a small, one step up where we often used our BBQ.
What I thought to mention about this is that if you plan to use the property as a vacation property or an AirBNB, etc.
, or even just for family outings, one thing that people loved to do, in our experience, was place a few popup tents and blowup air mattresses on the deck and sleep outside under the stars in late spring, summer, early autumn.
