JOB TITLE: Process Training specialist

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000
SUMMARY: Coordinates and conducts company-wide process training programs at the process plant in Newberry Springs, CA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required to develop and administer training that includes but not limited to the following subjects: Onboarding, Safety Training, Operator Development Training, Maintenance Training, HR training, etc.
Creates methods to record and communicate training progress.
Coordinates the documentation and tracking of completed training.
Conducts need analysis to identify skills/competency gaps and reports results to management.
Develops and maintains a training catalog outlining all internal and external courses provided by the organization.
Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of current training trends and resources.
Schedules and conducts new employee orientation as needed.
Assists current employees in process understanding.
Develops current and new employees in the understanding of the required DCS to perform process tasks more effectively and efficiently.
Develops and designs training content for process plant.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Trains team members on safety
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors preferred but not required.
Will take experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred hand on experience at a chemical process plant
Two to four years related experience in a training role.
