The Contracts & Grants Analyst will draft bids, contracts, board letters (Form 11), and contract amendments for service-related procurements.
The incumbent will seek inter-department and external department approval for documents and purchases, manage multiple high priority projects, maintain timelines throughout the projects and have an awareness when to escalate them.
Comprehend County political structure, and ability to lead meetings.
The incumbent will serve as a point of contact between the department and contractors or service providers on behalf of the County and the department to verify that contracts and grants adhere to all legal and liability requirements.
As well as gather information to assess program success in relation to contracts and state regulations and prepare and review preparatory documentation for administrative programs.
ADDITIONALLY, COMPETITIVE CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Knowledge and understanding of external Federal Guidelines/procedures for grants and contracts.
- Intermediate to advance level in Microsoft excel, Microsoft office, Microsoft word and Adobe.
- Knowledge with RivcoPro, Power BI, Minute Traq, People Soft.
- Ability to review and write contracts, analyze data and reports
- Offer excellent customer service, accountability, and be a team player.
At this time, the position has the opportunity to telework based on business need, however job expectations, at times may require in person interaction.
Telework may change at any time and you will be expected to report to the office.
